Mark Willis has been president of First Financial Insurance since it was formed in 1997. He is a chartered property and casualty underwriter, a certified insurance counselor, and a registered representative. During his 23 years in the industry, he has sold insurance, developed insurance programs for the Ohio Casualty Corporation, and presented and taught sales seminars.

Willis earned his bachelor’s degree in economics and business administration at Wittenberg University. He obtained his CPCU (Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter) designation in 1992 and his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 2001. He is also a Registered Representative (Series 6 and 65) and has been a member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT) since 2001.

Margaret Stratmanis an producing agent for First Financial Insurance. She joined the agency in 2002 and works from the bank’s location in downtown Hamilton. An experienced insurance sales person, she works with individuals and business clients to assist them with home, auto, umbrellas, life, and commercial insurance.

Previously the owner of a successful agency with American Family Insurance, Stratman has been in the industry for 10 years. She has also worked for Liberty Mutual Insurance, and is licensed to sell insurance in Ohio, Kentucky, Indiana, Michigan, and Tennessee.

Andy Murphy is a producing agent and assistant vice president of First Financial Insurance. Andy started with the agency in February of 2003 as our commercial specialist. He previously worked for Cincinnati Insurance Company progressing from manager of advanced life sales to head of their agency development. He was also an agent for 7 years on the 1990’s and successfully developed a book of business and a following.

A graduate of the University of Cincinnati, Murphy earned his master’s degree in financial services at the American College. He has earned these professional designations: CLU (Chartered Life Underwriter), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), CPCU (Chartered Property/Casualty Underwriter), and CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor).

Jeff Hess joined First Financial Insurance in February of 2006 as vice president with responsibility for life-licensed products such as disability, life, long-term care, group life, group health and insurance planning for high net-worth individuals. Previously, Jeff was employed by Fifth Third Bank as a high net-worth insurance specialist and spent 20 years at Prudential as the Managing Director for the Tri-State area.

Hess earned his bachelor’s degree at West Chester University and his master’s degree at Western Maryland College. He has earned a number of designations including CLU (Certified Life Underwriter), ChFC (Chartered Financial Consultant), and CMFC (Chartered Mutual Fund Counselor). He is also a Registered Representative (Series 7, 63, 65 and 26) with securities offered through ValMark Securities, member FINRA/SIPC. Jeff is a member of the Million Dollar Round Table as a Top of the Table qualifier.

Brad Wilson joined First Financial Insurance in 2003 with the acquisition of Wilson Lawson Myers Insurance Agency in Connersville, Indiana. With 27 years in the insurance business, he was a majority owner of the agency and is part of a third-generation book of business.

Wilson earned his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1986. In the industry, he is a member of Indiana Farmers Commercial Lines Task Force and has been a presenter for the Auto-Owners Insurance, Agents Advantage Program. He has been honored recently as Distinguished Citizen of the Year and Region 9 Small Business Advocate of the Year by the Fayette County Chamber of Commerce.

Robbie Wilson has been an agent for First Financial Insurance for the past eight years. A specialist in commercial property and casualty, he is the fourth generation that is tied to the book of business in Connersville, Indiana. He has proven success as an agent through the new relationships he has been able to foster through his expertise and product offerings.

He is a member of the Connersville Elks Club and serves as president of the Connersville Jaycees.

Ted Havens, vice president with First Financial Insurance, has 30 years of experience in the insurance industry. He earned his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1984 and co-owned White and Havens Insurance for 18 years until it was acquired by First Financial in 2004. Currently, he is responsible for agency operations, customer retention, and new business sales. His focus is on large and small commercial property and casualty insurance.

A member of Certified Insurance Counselors, he volunteers with charity events for the Elks Club of which he is a trustee.

Tom White was a co-owner of White and Havens Insurance in Highland, Indiana, when the agency was acquired by First Financial Insurance in 2004. He remained with First Financial Insurance as a producer of new business, especially commercial property and casualty insurance.

White earned his bachelor’s degree in business administration at Northwood University and started his insurance career in 1972 when he joined the family-owned White Insurance Agency. He earned his CIC (Certified Insurance Counselor) designation in 1984. In the city of Hammond, Indiana, he is a member of the planning commission and board of zoning appeals. A member of the board of directors of the Red Cross of Northwest Indiana and the Woodland Child Development Center, he is also a Rotarian, an Optimist, and a member of the American Legion and Pirates, Inc.
