FAIRFIELD - Fairfield South Gilmore banking center celebrated its grand reopening Wednesday after a renovation was completed to upgrade the First Financial bank.
Upgrades to the banking center, 6060 S. Gilmore Ave., include new teller lines, comfortable furniture and bright colors. Outside, there is new siding and updated landscaping and enhancements to the drive-through lanes, with an addition of a two-way audio/video teller system.
Colleen Anderson, First Financial Fairfield South Gilmore banking center manager, said the upgrades "allow us to serve clients faster and more efficiently."
Several Fairfield leaders were in attendance, including city councilmen and Fairfield Chamber of Commerce President Kert Radel, who said it's a positive to have a business investing in the community.
Also at the Wednesday ribbon-cutting ceremony, First Financial Bank made a $1,000 donation to One Way Farm.
