Avon, Ind. – May 12, 2015 – Local residents, community leaders and First Financial associates gathered for a special ribbon cutting ceremony Monday May 11, 2015 to celebrate the grand opening of First Financial’s first prototype banking center in the Indianapolis region.
After the ribbon cutting, First Financial will host an open house at the new banking center located at 9554 East US Highway 36 in Avon from 3:30 to 5 p.m.
“We are proud that Avon is home to our first prototype banking center in this region,” said Steve Spicer, First Financial Market President. “This banking center is bright and full of energy; and we feel it conveys the impression we want to deliver at First Financial in that we are a difference maker in the community.”
The prototype banking center features a full complement of retail, residential mortgage, commercial lending, and wealth management services as well as teller and Smart ATM drive-thru services. The new banking center also incorporates several elements that reflect the company’s commitment to sustainability, including energy-efficient building materials, lighting controls and solar powered efficiencies.
“There is nothing more important to us than to keep our clients at the center of everything we do,” Spicer said. “This banking center was built so that we can enhance the high-quality service, customized banking solutions and expert financial advice that our clients expect and deserve.”
In addition to the new banking center, First Financial showed further commitment to local decision making when it recently established its regional hub at 300 North Meridian in Downtown Indianapolis.
First Financial also expanded its presence in Indiana earlier this spring when it celebrated the grand opening of another regional hub and its first banking center in Fort Wayne.
“It is an exciting time at First Financial, as we continue to invest in Indiana,” said Kevin Langford, First Financial Community Banking President and Indiana resident. “The grand opening of this new banking center in Avon further shows that we want to continue that commitment.”
