First Financial Bank Announces New Board Leadership
Cincinnati, Ohio – May 17, 2018 – J. Wickliffe Ach has been named the Lead Independent Director of the Board of Directors of First Financial Bancorp. He has served on the board of First Financial for 11 years, and previously served as Vice Chairman and head of the corporate governance and nominating committee. His transition into this new role accompanies the Board of Director changes recently made as a part of the merger with MainSource Bank and Claude Davis, former First Financial Bank CEO, transitioning into the Executive Chairman role.
"Wick has an impressive 35 years as CEO of Hixson Inc. We appreciate his continued support and increased leadership on our Board of Directors," said Claude Davis, Executive Chairman. "His experience, passion for culture and strategy, and commitment to our community make him invaluable to our organization as we continue to grow."
In addition to his role with First Financial, Ach remains involved in numerous Cincinnati business and civic activities, including holding seats on several Board of Directors, both for profit and non-profit organizations, including the Cincinnati Museum Center Union Terminal, Project President, The Board of Grote Enterprises and The CISE Foundation Board.
"I’m so pleased to continue my involvement with First Financial Bank in an expanded capacity," said Ach. "This is a pivotal time of growth for the bank, and I look forward to working with the newly combined Board of Directors to positively influence the evolution and results of the company."
