A minimum deposit of $25 or more is required, and there's several ways you can make a deposit. Make sure you add money within 60 days of opening your account or the account will close.

If you are using our direct deposit tool:

You'll need what account you want to deposit your money into and your payroll or benefit provider's login credentials. 

If you are setting up direct deposit manually:

You'll need to know what type of account you want to deposit your money into (checking or savings), your account and routing number, social security number, and this form.

Not sure where to find your account or routing number? Here are a few easy options:

  • Log in to online banking: Select your account from the dashboard; your account number will appear in the details.
  • Check your checks: Look at the bottom of a personal check.
  • Review your bank statement
  • Check your account opening documents

It typically takes one to two pay periods for updates or changes to your direct deposit details, such as switching to a new bank or account, to be fully processed. Exact timing may vary depending on your employer or payroll provider. 

Most payment providers let you recover your login credentials when setting up your direct deposit through First Financial Bank. Depending on your provider you may need to complete this process directly with them.

You'll know your direct deposit set up was completed when you see your funds arrive in your account on pay day.

To update or make changes to your direct deposit, please contact your employer or payment provider directly. Edits can't be made through First Financial Bank's direct deposit setup feature.

You can use our real-time mobile alerts to receive a text message or email when money is deposited into your account. You can learn more about alerts here.
