Things to know before Go-live

Key dates

  • August 31: preview period begins, giving you two weeks to explore and get comfortable the new interface.
  • September 14: your upgrade goes live!

What you can do now

Complete a few important steps before Go-live:

  • Review your log-in credentials. These are not changing. 
  • Know your segment. Your segment assignment was mailed to you around August 17. If you cannot find it, reach out to your banker.
  • Review your Basic or Advanced Upgrade Guide, which has been mailed and emailed to you. 
  • Register for webinars. 
  • If you have ACH senders with multiple offset accounts, additional ACH senders will be created. If you use NACHA import or pass through, you will need to update your software to accommodate these changes to your ACH senders. These changes must be made after September 14. If you are impacted, your banker will reach out to you with next steps or please contact our Business Support Center for more details.

Frequently asked questions

A few items will need to be recreated or re-established after the upgrade, including:

  • Established user and system alerts.
  • Recurring payments and transfers will migrate, but will need to be re-approved for them to become active.
  • Custom reports.
  • Quickbooks will need to be reconnected.
  • Future payments and transfers scheduled for September 14 or after will need to be recreated. 
  • A template will not migrate if it has special characters in any of the fields, such as using "#" in an address. 

Businesses with multiple ACH accounts may receive a new “ACH COMPANY ID.” These changes may require updates with your suppliers/vendors or internal systems.

  • ACH Returns and Notice of Change Notifications: You will no longer receive printed and mailed notifications of your ACH returns and NOCs. These notifications will be accessible via f1RSTNAVIGATOR and our Transaction Management System. You can set up text or email alerts to be notified when they are available.
  • ACH Pre-funding: Originated pre-funded ACH transactions will be processed the day before the effective date of your transaction(s) and funds will be debited on that day. The bank will not hold funds prior to this date and if funds are not available, the payment will be rejected.
  • If you need the ability to "pull" funds via ACH, you will need to request this access, as it is no longer available via ACH Pre-funding.
