All for One Ministry: Changing lives in their community…one cup and one heart at a time

First Financial Bank helps a nonprofit make a big difference

Alex Sefton was raised in Greensburg, Indiana, a close-knit town of about 12,000 people.

In 2014, he formed All for One Ministry, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. The goal of the Christ-centered group was to bring various Christian denominations together and make a difference in the lives of Greensburg citizens. He was only fourteen at the time, and today still volunteers as the Executive Director of the organization. “My experience is a unique combination of small business, nonprofit, and church ministry,” Alex said. “It’s a weird set of skills and passions, but I love it.”

All for One purchased a building in 2021 in downtown Greensburg near the First Financial Bank branch and converted it into a charitable coffeehouse called The Branch Gathering Place + Coffee House. First Financial provided $3,000 in matching funds towards a grant provided by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority in 2022 to help renovate the back of the coffeehouse and turn it into a community center. “When we completed the first round of the renovation, a couple of First Financial employees even volunteered to help with the demolition,” Alex said.

The nonprofit currently relies on First Financial Bank for checking accounts. It also appreciates the overall convenience of banking with First Financial. “I love all the tellers at the downtown branch where we bank. Plus, I do a lot by phone. First Financial Bank’s robust infrastructure and mobile app make online banking easy and convenient,” Alex said.

Today, All for One has grown into a $500,000, community-based nonprofit. “We use a combination of entrepreneurial, nonprofit, and ministry principles to make the coffeehouse run, but all of our net assets go back out into the community in the form of grants, scholarships, and humanitarian assistance,” said Sefton.

As All for One continues to grow, Alex can see the organization’s business relationship with First Financial expanding along with them.

First Financial is proud to help with any organization that works to bring a positive impact to their communities.
